The installation and integration of the aluminum casting line automation and SCADA system based on Siemens S7 PLC at NN Döküm have been successfully completed. The project aimed to digitize production processes, creating a more efficient, flexible, and traceable system.

Project Scope and Activities

• Siemens S7 PLC-Based Automation:
  The automation of every stage of the casting process was achieved using Siemens S7 PLC. The automation system enabled precise control over critical operations such as molding, metal casting, cooling, and machining.
• SCADA System Installation:
  Through the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system, operators can monitor and control all processes in the casting line in real time. The system ensures that any deviations on the line can be addressed immediately, minimizing production downtime.
• Remote Monitoring and Control:
  The integration of Siemens PLC with the SCADA system allows operators to monitor and control production remotely. This feature provides the ability to respond quickly to issues both on-site and remotely.

This project has resulted in improved efficiency and greater flexibility while enhancing the traceability of the production processes, ensuring smooth operations at NN Döküm.
